Last year this car was on sale at a main BMW dealers for £22,500 - that got you an Approved Used car from a main dealer, warranted, trade in facilities, finance facilities, as many scones and croissants as you can eat, etc.
This year, being sold from the garage at the side of somebody's house - £26,250.

Is it worth going abroad and purchasing over there?onlyfoolsandparking said:All supply and demand imo as it always has been. Yes inflation and uncertainty is having some sort of impact on prices but good deals are still out there, just takes a bit more effort I'm finding
I like Mad Max by the way and could see myself as a 'Toecutter' impersonator in the future

I think its a bit more red in real life, but it was one of the things put me off the car at the time. I quite liked to combo, but it is a bit marmite. I think come resale time anyone looking at something like that has a specific colour combo in mind, and its unlikely to be that.Ibrahim5 said:2 doors and orange seats. Agreed. Just observing that previously buying a car like that at a main dealer would have seen a significant price drop if you went to sell it a year later if you were selling it from your garage at the side of your house rather than a main dealer.[Deleted User] said:

Don't forget import duty and VAT, and the costs of registering the car in the UK - IVA or CoC.0 -
Thanks all
Motorguy...
Reckon I should hang on? I am bored of my car - and good offers coming in. But that is no good if you can't buy anything. The jump between my used value say 25 and the next car is 100% i.e. another 25k on top.
Wondered if there was an interim brand or type of car worth switching into I have a large d saloon.
X5 is out ... way too much - new cars not around till Jan and even then without spec because of chips.
Electric is an option but I am not ready yet... and even Teslas are crazy wait times and prices.0
