Hi all, I'm looking for some help and guidance relating to my case. It relates to a parking ticket from a services dating back to the end of 2017. I outstayed my allocated time limit (2 hours I think it was) whilst working on my laptop within the services cafe. I've ignored the previous requests for payment from companies but I now have a 'letter of claim' for a bit less than £200. I've got 2-3 weeks to decide what to do next. Any help would be much appreciated and happy to provide any further info. Cheers.

There are plenty of MSA treads on here, please read a few and also the newbies and complain to your MP. This may amuse you

I've spent a few hours reading through a multitude of posts and threads... It confuses me if I'm honest. If I just paid the £200 I'm guessing it just goes away?0

Which MSA and which parking company. Once you have that, you can search for threads involving only those words and see what others have done. You can then also complain to the MSA that you were following the Government advice to "take a break - tiredness kills". If you read some of the other threads, you will see that the regulars have posted e-mail addresses for the common ones.1

Thanks for the response, they say the client is Cp Plus T/a Groupnexus. Cant recall what was on the original letters. They went in the bin. It was Pont Abraham Services, Swansea. I genuinely took a break to have a coffee and ended up there working on my laptop longer than 2 hours.

Useless Roadchef then:

Read all the other Roadchef threads (yawn...you must complain and Tracey will fob you off) but NO PAYING IT because that just funds the business and the next PCNs. Wise up please and don't pay this scam for an easy life. CP PLUS ones are easy to defend, no risk.
NOW PLEASE DO YOUR BIT AND CHANGE THINGS FOR THE FUTURE:

Guys, at the risk of appearing a complete dullard... I'm confused. I've read lots, looked at the newbie threat... spent a few hours over the last couple of days and still cant make sense of it.
So... my letter of claim (attached) is the only paperwork I have. Rest went in the bin. CP Plus is referenced as the client of DCB Legal. My next move... do I request a SAR from CP Plus by email and then also email DCB legal notifying then I've done so???
I seem to have 22 days before it results in a 'claim being issued without further notice'. Also that Luke Gross chap what would I need to send him?
