New to LUX3.6 ACS

I have upgraded from Sofar me3000sp with it just being 3kw to the LUX for the 3.6kw capacity as I have just has ASHP fitted & needed a bit more buffer.
I have 7 Pylontech batteries latest 2 are C's had to make new coms cable to allow the C's to be recognised.
Have noticed the LUX appears to give more out to the grid than I would have liked, but it does appear to be doing all I need it to.
Winter will be the big test as I have just changed from Go to Go faster 5 hours, to hopefully get through most days for the 5.5p unit rate.
But as I also have EV to charge know some days if it's cold with everything in the house being electric have to be realistic.
I generate around 5500kwh per year from 3 systems due to poor location.

Hi, and welcome.
There's a few of us have the lux, and around a year or so ago, I made the same journey from sofar to lux.
You will be enjoying the difference between the solarman app and the lux, an actual interface rather than data reports.
EVandPV has a thread on the lux also.
I am on go faster also but chose the 3 hours of 4.5p to let me charge the system the cheapest way possible way.
But I have 2 lux running parallel so am able to split the charging current.
The lux will charge at 3.6kw, but in reality will discharge at 3.4kw, just FYIWest central Scotland
4kw sse since 2014 and 6.6kw wsw / ene split since 2019

We're only talking about 100watts though so no great loss but cheers for the suggestion. 👍

But it maybe that I notice it more as you can force a refresh which was about 9 mins on Sofar.
So I am making more of my generation than I was doing before, & able to charge car for longer & higher rate with the LUX
Cant wait to see how I get on in the winter in trying to run heat pump at cheapest 5 hours & avoid its use at standard day rate.0 -

Folk were seeing more export with some of the older versions, myself included.
With the latest version, BAAA-1111, I'm seeing practically no export unless the batteries are full.Scott in Fife, 2.9kwp pv SSW facing, 2.7kw Fronius inverter installed Jan 2012 - 14.3kwh Seplos Mason battery storage with Lux ac controller - Renault Zoe 40kwh, Corsa-e 50kwh, Zappi EV charger and Octopus Go0 -
The software version mine is on is BAAB-0405 not sure if that is older or later?0

@Solarchaser, can you confirm ?
Think I would need a big cash input before I add another cabinet more battery capacity & second inverter.
Also not sure on what it would be like in getting DNO approvals for a second unit?0
