Hi good people So my wife and son were denied boarding plane to bulgaria in morning on 27 july ,because they dont have a negative pcr test..im not going to explain how stressfull that was for them and me ,you can imagine. The think is on that day earlier bulgarian government issued new policy for entry ,but it didnt change anything for bulgarians .there has  never been a requirement to provide a negative pcr test prior of boarding and easyjet never asked before for it.It was misunderstanding from they personal on manchester airport.Half of the pasengers were refused boarding for that reason. Some people  strayed and arguing and was told to wait till easyjet office opens at 7 then they will get refund or transfere to another flight free.I pick my wife earlier and went home to Doncaster.the next day we spoke with few easyjet customer service on phone and they all denied responsibility saying was its our fault not providing negative pcr test ,etc.i send them numerous emails ant attached link to bulgarian embasy in london new policy and from bulgarian government pdf document.yhey were just replying with ready made answers like ;Our personal knows what they doing ,you were not there ,you didnt not provide negative pcr.: But fact is they made a mistake that cost us £480 to rebook for next flight . And obviously this time they didnt asked anybody for negative pcr test ,like they never asked before.I dont know how to explain  or who to talk to .its like a brick wall .Any help maybe how to push them to admit its theyr fault will be appreciated.

I can imaging how stressful this was for them, but I think the question is not "Does Bulgaria require a negative PCR test?" but does "EasyJet require a negative PCR test?"

If EasyJet required a negative PCR test, and told them that they needed a negative PCR test, and they didn't provide one,  then I'm not sure you have any case against them. So did EasyJet tell them they needed a negative PCR test?
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

As above two parts to this .
One Bulgaria   may or may not need a test .
Two Easy Jet require a test to board .

    Thanks all for replying.
yes my wife showed proof of  double vaccination.
Easyjet never ever asked before that flight and after that flight anybody for negative pcr test  prior boarding to Bulgaria.
Fact is they didnt ask for it  on 29 july when my wife boarded the flight .only proof of vaccination.
My wife said they (easyjet staf) didnt know exacty whats happening themselfes and had to wait more than an hour for update.
obviously they misinterpret it or it was wrongly translated to them or whatever it was . this is a quote from bulgarian embasy website:

The above listed persons arriving from the UK are permitted on the territory of the country presenting a vaccination certificate or for recovering from Covid together with a negative PCR test for COVID-19.

If the said persons do not have a vaccination certificate or for recovery, they are allowed to enter with a  negative PCR test, but in this case will have to self-isolate for 10 days.

Exception is made for Bulgarian citizens and persons with permanent, long-term or continuous residence status on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and their family members. They are not required to present any Covid-19 documents but will have to self-isolate for 10 days. If they present only one of a required documents (a vaccination certificate/a  certificate for recovering from Covid OR a  negative PCR test ) , the quarantine will be waived if they do a PCR test within 24 hours from their entry in the country.

Children under 12 years of age are not required to present any Covid-19 related documents.

Children between 12 and 18 years of age should have a negative PCR test or will have to self-isolate for 10 days. If they present  a  negative PCR test done no more than 72 hours before the entry , the quarantine will be waived if they do a PCR test within 24 hours from their entry in the country.

    IMPORTANT FOR THE AIR CARRIERS:

Bulgarian citizens and their family members as well as the residents and their family members ARE ALLOWED to enter the territory of Bulgaria even if they do not present ANY Covid-19 related documents /tests or vaccination certificates/.

The lack of a Negative PCR test or vaccination certificate for Bulgarian citizens and their family members as well as for residents and their family members should not be used as a reason to deny boarding a plane.

Fully vaccinated passengers who are allowed to enter are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result, but may be required to quarantine.

    Entry Requirements in Bulgaria

    Fully Vaccinated Passengers

Bulgaria is open to fully vaccinated passengers, except for those arriving from:

    • Africa: Botswana, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Zambia.

So did your wife check in and therefore there is proof that she was there or have you, by returning home, made it appear that she was a no-show for the flight ?

that matches what IATA also shows (updated 30th July) https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/world.php
what will be important to see what the rules were on the 27th to see if it was the same and the denial was incorrect.

Nobody was allow to check in . She was there for two hours waiting for them to get updates.
the rules  on the 27 th were same as before.there were no changes for Bulgarian passengers.
It was just a misunderstanding from they're side for whatever reason.
Now they just repeat reason for denial not showing negative pcr result. Which is funny because they officially do not require this.
