I have had an upgrade this week and have a 6230i that i want to sell, it is the one that i have just received as an upgrade.
I have tried to unlock it with no success using 3 of the codes found on one of the sites on the 1st post.
I am just wondering if it is not locked, when he gave me the phone he said just put your sim in and it will work which it did.
1.Does this mean it is not locked to any network?.I am on a monthly tariff.
2.Can I find out if it is locked to a network?
3.Thanks for the help.0 -

GUIDE TO ENTERING CODES
please remove sim card before using the code
in the code, you will also notice the p, w and + symbols...
to get the p symbol, press the * key 3 times within 1 second
to get the w symbol, press the * key 4 times within 1second
to get the + symbol, press the * key 2 times within 1 second
If the code is sucessful, you should see
"sim restriction off"
on the screen... if you see "code error",
this means that you have the wrong code for your phone...
-Their are 2 ways to input the code if the first way dose not work try this way thats if you do not get a message after input of code
Insert the WRONG sim card.
When it says phone restricted,
press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code
and enter the code in to the box
on screen
input this code0 -
groover, you rock!!
First code, and it worked 100%, big thanks :A
By the way, I needed to insert wrong SIM in order to lift the restriction. So others with Nokia 6030 should follow WAY No2, which was kindly provided by you.0 -
Hi
I've got serial cable with the battery for LG81** phones and tried SIRCILY LGR unlocker software. At the end of the unlocking process, software indicates "Unlocking OK!", but it is still locked to 3. I am trying LG8120.
Any Idea?0 -
Hi
If you don't have Serial cable for nec313, then try this method which I've seen on other forums:
1. insert non-three SIM
2. "incorrect sim" warning
3. key in #4960*xxxxxxxx# & press "dial key" - (xxxxxxxx is a 8 digit random no)
4. key in *4960*xxxxxxxx*xxxxxxxx# - (xxxxxxxx is same as above)
5. "SIM lock disable", then restart your handset.
Apparently, it also TOTALLY locks your phone if it is NOT pre March 2004.
If this did not work. then you would need a serial cable and software to unlock it.
Hope it works for you!0
