hhmmmm...

well i put the sim card in (orange) and all my stuffs there as its saved to the mobile...so it all works but no network stuff comes up...no signal or anything..


could that be not regestering it?

if its locked it would say "restricted" enter unlock code " or similar
no signal is usually a fault in the phone. is sim working ok in another phone? does another known working sim work ok in this one?

I have just registered an O2 PAYG sim card and have tried using it on my old Orange Nokia 3330. Even though after typing in the codes, I get a phone unlocked message, when I insert the sim card and turn the phone on, it says insert valid sim card. My brother has tried the sim card in his phone which is on o2. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

sounds like you have only put one code in
generate the codes again and put in the 2nd code as well

if the orange one works ok in another phone then its the phone.
is it an old sim or a never used one?

never used sim.

sim will need registering with orange customer services before you can use it.
phone usually says "sim registration failed" when its not registered though?
