Thanks very much drahcir - really didn't fancy bringing it down to the "one last chance" scenario and the code worked!0 -
Can anyone help me with an unlock code for a nokia 6230 on orange network with an IEMI number of: 355039001804441

First of all can I say what a lovely helpful lot you all are! Then... do you mind trying with my phone? I'm a bit of a technophobe, see. I have an old nokia 3210e originally on the Orange network which I got paid to get unlocked and used in Aus with a PAYG virgin sim no problems. I then lent it to a friend who used another sim but since he returned it to me, I cannot get it to work with the sim I now have (O2). The IMEI is 448903880119421 but I don't know what the GEN is, or the GID2 or the MSIN for that matter! All advice would be eagerly received.
Yours, quite confused, RozeePozee0 -

please recheck your imei (press *#06#) as it says invalid checksum.
if its def the correct imei then enter both of these codes, letting it reboot after the first if it wants to.
