you need to put another network sim card in the phone and turn it on, enter the code when it asks for a restriction code

I'm getting a code error message, double checked the IMEI, and retried the code checking it twice, still code error.

the code looks correct to me
what happens when you put a different sim in? what is the msg?
have you already tried some codes before as you only get 5 attempts

OK, I've just got the phone, I've not put the O2 sim in, I just put my Virgin sim in, powered it up, it says 'phone restricted' I press undo, it says 'enter restriction code' I enter the code above, and it says code error.

I've only tried tho code twice, not tried any other codes or anything.
