Hello,
Any experiences with the above? Are there any problems with receiving short codes for example from banks, financial institutions any websites that need to verify it is you etc?
Any problems with Direct Debit etc? with bills? With coverage? Is it the same as EE?
Thanks

I hear on another forum that they do not allow sending to short codes, but do allow receiving from them.
I also believe that they do not have band 20 4G access. This is 800MHz, the slowest but widest reaching signal (best for indoor coverage).
I have never used them though. They have a very loyal following - note a lot of offers end tomorrow or Wednesday.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0 -

I've been with plusnet, and my wife still is.
UK based call centres. Very customer focused. I'd be very willing to go back to them (but they don't offer a package with enough data for me).0 -

Do you have a mobile card with them?Yes. No problems receiving 2FA messages from at least 12 different financial organisations that I use.The main downsides to Plusnet are no sending short codes, no wi-fi calling and no VoLTE.Coverage much the same as EE. Their billing and DDs work ok, if something goes wrong though it can be problematic getting it sorted but not really any different to any other provider - when I have had things go wrong I have ended up with a double correction in my favour ! Changing contracts has been easy - just a phone call and you are moved on your next billing cycle.

You CAN receive from short codes (Inc bank MFA texts).
You CANNOT send to them.
We cannot be clearer & have no reason to deceive. I have now seen 3 first hand sources confirm this in a week.Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0
