Their T& C  ( section  10)  refer to refunding delivery  charges to EEA members. UK is no longer a member of the EEA.

They seem to be distinguishing between the EEA and UK, with A dIffering returns process for UK.

Perhaps they do not realise that the CRA 2015 applies in UK.

As you mention 30 days for returning goods

at what point did you return the cap?

and what was your reason for returning the cap?

I returned the cap after 30 days and the reason was it was too big

But you didn't return it within 30 days.

As it was over 30 days this appears to be outside their return period and the standard cancellation period so I can't see they would be obligated to.

There is a question of whether the cancellation period was extended which depends on the durable information they gave and unfortunately this isn't a case of simple terms

Is it 30 days with all retailers ?

It's 14 days beginning the day after the goods arrived for all retailers, possibly extended to 1 year and 14 days.

Anything else is the retailer's own policy.
