I'm looking to do one soon, but having a tough time pinpointing good companies whom can do it a reasonable price. I know of companies like Anglian but I hear they charge a bomb.
I just want a fairly simply 3x3 (no planning permission needed, within permitted development) with a little bit of brick base and double glazing all round with double glazed doors.
Anyone done this recently? How much did it cost? Any recommendations?

I did this one for my daughter recently. It's finished now with a Tyrolean render. It cost her just over 2 grand in materials and a bottle of single malt and a 30 pack of crisps in labour. You are probably looking at around 6 grand.

Permitted development is three square metres.3m x 3m is 9 square metres. Not permitted development. Or do you mean 3ft x 3ft? That won't have double doors though.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The usual problem is finding a good builder as the best will be booked up for months to come.0 -
Just don't do a wooden clad one.
Someone has done that across the front of a 1920's house down the road and although beautifully done it still looks like there's a shed stuck on.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

Saw the same on a 1970s property. Looked utterly grim.

Is it 3 ft x 3 ft
That is the foot print measurement on the outside.
Double skin of bricks all round and your inside measurements are gonna be about 2ft x 2 ft, then a door of 2ft 6 would not be possible.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

I would guess he means it's going to be in the region of 3 sqM. The one I did was just below 3 M2. It was mainly to add storage space, so the window area so kept down. The sides are only single skin to make a bit more space inside.0
