ULTRA HD TV QUESTION FOR TECHIES ON SKY Q

I bought a new TV (After 20 years) in Novemeber. It is a smart TV Samsung 4k HDR.

I have noticed when i go to the best resolution i think its 2160 or something everytime SKY Q do a software update every single app i use (amazon, netflix, disney plus) there is a black screen that flickers every few seconds. Its so annoying and ive noticed it happens as soon as a software update is done. The problem here lasts for so long and then just when the problem stops and sorts it self out, SKY do another software update and it just goes around in cycles!

Does anyone have any thing similar and any fixes?

FYI this is only for ULTRA HD and if i change the resolution it works fine but why am i paying for the best if i cant have it

Ask $ky?  and their Community (forum)?  Their box (you don't own it) and their subscription income...  ??

Can't you use the TV's built in version of (at least some of those) apps rather than the Q box apps?

Yes the TV app is able to use but its just easier with the SKY APP
