Defending moneyclaim by DCB

I received a county court business  centre letter by DCB  days ago as I had ignored them all along. I just happened to have opened the letter to day only to find out that I have less than 12 hours to respond. Do I need to reply to this and if I need to how? Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you

Is it a N1 court claim form?  If so, please give us the Date of Issue shown on it.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

There must be a N1 form somewhere which tells you who the claimant is (not DCBL - they are just the claimant's legal reps), and breaks down the total amount which they are claiming from you.  Please tell us that information.

If the Issue Date is 1 July, you should have acknowledged service over a week ago, so I'm surprised there isn't already a judgment in default against you.

Provide the answers above, then we can direct you to a template defence which you can use, even at this 11th hour, if it remains a possibility.

You can copy and adapt the template defence (top of the forum) within ONE HOUR flat.  Do it right now and then email it to the CCBC as explained in the template defence thread.

No faffing around asking us what to put in points 2 and 3.  You can add your own facts in minutes.  You are LATE and about to get a CCJ so no delaying this beyond this afternoon and no trying to do it on MCOL.

Have you complained to your MP?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • The company making the claim through DCB Legal is ISS-at the hosiptal where I was working on the day and still work there

Right, done that defence yet and emailed it off? You are about to lose by default and another working day has slipped by.

Adapting the template defence takes most newbies half an hour.

I've never heard of them before. Can you check please.

But your main task immediately is to follow the advice from @Coupon-mad above - it's extremely urgent you get some kind of defence off NOW.

You really need to start writing more clearly.

You have not received 'a court note'.

'The court has granted ISS the request'?? What does that mean?

I am guessing that you have received  A Judgment for Claimant (in default).
