HELP with Mobiles.co.uk Disaster!! Poor Credit Score.

Hello everyone.
I ordered a phone from * back in November 2018. After numerous issues with * I EVENTUALLY received the phone I had ordered. However, when the phone arrived, it failed to connect to the Vodafone network. After phoning * every day with no success, I finally gave up and returned the phone to them.
I have proof of return and proof that they received the return.
After a couple of weeks I received a bill from Vodafone, when I called to query this (as I didn't have the phone nor sim card they were charging me for) they told me that they could not speak to me as the security details I was providing didn't match their records and that I would have to deal with mobiles directly. I contacted * numerous times to to correct this issue and they eventually advised me that the contract was terminated.
Since then, Vodafone have defaulted my account (leaving me with poor credit score) and passed the 'debt' onto Lowell. I have raised a dispute with Lowell and been back in contact with Vodafone and *. Both of which are blaming each other for the circumstances and I am backwards and forwards to each company on the phone with now joy.
* have ensured my that they requested a termination of contract but that it was rejected b y Vodafone because they hold alternative information about me to them. Contrary to this information Vodafone deny they have received such request. So know I don't know what to do & desperately want and NEED to get this defaulted credit off my credit file.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP?

Complain to voda. e-mail them - google their e-mail addresses im sure a few will come up
also email the ceo - always seems to help and move the complaint further. Most likely someone from the back office will reply and get this resolved0 -
You should follow the complaints process until you have there final response.
If you remain unhappy you escalate the matter to the ombudsman service that covers Vodaphone.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
