Well I'm pretty happy, got three referrals so £225 for a £100 outlay, and my partner has £175 :)

Weird. Today, I had 35p paid from InvestEngine into my current account. Presumably this is a dividend payment that I agreed should be paid into my current account though I can’t remember that I did as I never ask for any income to be paid to a non-investment account. There’s no option I can see in InvestEngine to change from Inc to Acc. (I am invested in their Managed Portfolio)

It doesn’t really matter in this instance as I am only in this for the £50 bonus but if anyone wants to use them for real, this may not be a desirable approach.
Also no dividends paid (went for 'growth'). Did you go for income portfolio? From statement below it implies no option to change. Which as you say may not be desirable, especially if investing via an ISA.

If you go support -> Income portfolios -> "When will I receive the income from my Investengine portfolio" it says

We pay out the income from your portfolio in the first 5 working days of each month. We send the payment direct to your nominated bank account, and it will typically reach your bank instantly. In some cases it may take up to 4 days to credit your account, depending on who you bank with.

We pay your income in a single monthly amount. Each monthly payment consists of the income from your portfolio that InvestEngine has collected in the previous calendar month. You may not receive a payment in your first month after investing because of the timing of the income distributions of the ETFs in your portfolio.

I really can't remember asking for Income at any stage but I probably have done so. I just know it wasn't a conscious decision to go for Income, as I never do this.

My tiny managed portfolio has now completed it's switch to less risk and am pleased to see I no longer own Artificial Intelligence and Ageing Population thematic ETFs and now own a more traditional set of equity trackers, bond funds with a little bit of gold and silver.

This happened to me too when I first opened the account. I simply messages them and they switched over to reinvest all dividends etc back into the portfolio. They may need to sell all your fund purchases and rebuy, but this is a very quick process and doesn't cost you anything.

There was mention of having to submit ID earlier in this thread - anyone know if that is always required, or only if they can't verify automatically themselves? Thanks.

Neither did I but they might well require it before they process any withdrawals. You should always be prepared to provide ID on request.

They have developed quite a slick web based process for uploading the evidence and it's not something I would normally be asked to do when opening accounts as electronic checks usually work for me. I regularly open accounts and am a long term homeowner with credit history, stable bank account, on electoral roll, etc. I know they have to satisfy KYC requirements but thought it was a bit heavy handed asking for the photo in addition to the scans.
