Holiday Autos Advice please

I booked car hire through Holiday Autos but given the uncertainty re France Ive had to re arrange my flights so now need to arrange car hire too. Ive decided to take holiday autos up on there promise from their T&Cs "If you cancel 48 hours prior to your pick-up, you will be refunded in full." but all Ive been offered isn't a refund but a voucher which although valid for 2 years looks like is a one off so if their is any unused credit I lose it. Given the T&Cs state a full refund can I claim back through my credit card?

Do can you post a link to that cancellation remark in their terms?

Just double check that they cancellation offer applied to the rental rate you selected. Sometimes different rate plans are offered with different conditions which can be overlooked.

Hi Thanks for responding. as a newbie the forum won't allow me to post the link! Since posting and  if it helps other forumites, I eventually found a contact number through an internet search . Having spoken to customer service they have agreed to refund me in full. Will take upto 4 weeks apparently which is Ok as long as I get it. I have had email confirmation its "in process" They say that the option for refund should be on their website alongside the option for the voucher (it definitely isn't.)

A friend who was also supposed to be travelling with us independently but now can't accepted the voucher so isn't entitled to a refund now. 

Always better to chat to a person in these circumstances and fair play they have now honoured their T&Cs
