Oh no, you mustn’t lose your riding time…seriously house work is always there, it will wait. I have another one that doesn’t see what needs doing, so I have taught myself to turn a blind eye to it on a weekend. I’m not killing myself cleaning on my days off and make sure I have time for my hobby too.

  • Another day of work for me. Took a packed lunch. Managed to get to the shops before 4pm closure to buy dinner but it avoided expensive takeaway. Got a large microwave meal and will bulk it up with coleslaw, potato salad, pitta bread to make it last lunch + dinner tomorrow. I’m watching a tv series called Spendaholics on YouTube. Very interesting watch. Filled up on petrol so that’s x 2 this month costing me £77 but it’s under my £90 allocated budget. Will last me a few days after pay day on the 20th so helps my budget next month.

  • Only just home from work- few hours overtime for me. Packed lunch eaten so no spends today. Had planned to go food shopping tonight after work but supermarkets all closed by the time I finish. Another late shift tomorrow so I’ll miss the supermarkets again. That’s the problem with shift work. My partner is away working right now and I can’t get an online shop as always fully booked.

I hope you have enough food in to cobble things together!

Thank you - I’ll have to pull items from the cupboards for a scrappy packed lunch today. Hopefully get to the shops tonight. Hope you are well?

  • Store cupboard things like tuna pasta are good fall backs if you have anything like that? Or even a baked potato with butter or beans, if you have somewhere to reheat it?
I’m  good thanks, hope you are too 😁

Just checked my student loan- I’ve got £922.34 left to pay - much better than I thought. Credit card is at £1892. I get paid 20th of each month with an automatic student loan payment taken from my salary. I will pay £172 to my credit card plus I think I’ll have some monies left at the end of this month. I’ll divide this into 2- half to savings and half to my credit card. Seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Checked credit score and I’m at 977 - a better score than I thought too

  • 10 days left to pay day. Got a works drink on Friday but will have a couple of drinks, have eaten before I go out and my partner will be back from working far away so is picking me up from the pub quite early when he gets home. Got two days out watching a horse show but tickets already paid for and my friend is treating me to food etc as I paid last time. Horse riding lesson next week already paid for too. Then just to battle another few days at work

  • Made it through some tough days at work to my days off! Finished work at 7am, Tesco on the way home. Now I’m in front of the tv watching Secrets Of Your Supermarket Shop on channel 5. Interesting watch. Used a £1.50 money off voucher at Tesco. Slight worry when my car juddered a bit when starting - but oh did start. It’s just passed it’s service/MOT so hopefully it’s ok. Resting today. Nice feeling when the washing/cleaning is already done. Watching finance tv programmes and planning my two horsey days out later.
