Taken from Vauxhall's website just now (below). PSA offer 100000 mile warranty on commercials. What makes you think it's not a Vivaro and where are you getting your info?

Vauxhall’s new vehicle warranty ensures your peace of mind against material or manufacturing defects for three years (unlimited mileage for the first 12 months and subject to a total mileage limit of 60,000 miles from first registration). This applies to all cars and vans except Vivaro and New Movano, the additional warranty for which carries a limit of 100,000 miles from first registration.

"Vivaro" is the badge Opel use for the mid-size vans, on three different generations of van since 2001.

So, yes, the majority of under-warranty Vivaros will indeed be PSA-based vans...

Since the Vauxhall website has described a 100k mile warranty on new Vivaros since at least March 2019, according to archive.org, I'm not quite sure where your suggestion that the last two year's worth of vans with "VIVARO" on the back are somehow not "Vivaros"...

I personally suspect the Dealer may be telling porkies as this happened to me and almost cost a grand, and would want to see what Vauxhall actually said
My understanding is dealers prefer retail labour rates to warranty labour rates

The lifetime warranty was always limited to 100,000 miles in any case.

Vauxhall warranties are a bit weird.
Their limited warranties (which are in line with other car companies) transfer to another owner.
But the extended 'lifetime warranty' only applies to the first owner.

Since they binned that for new vehicles in 2015, and it only applied to the first owner anyway, it's not terribly relevant to the 2019 van the OP bought used.

I had a call from the MD secretary, who is now handling the case and is away to speak to the dealer. Van has only been serviced in Vauxhall dealers. I gave her all the details and she agreed the Vivaro should have 100k warranty. She said she will look into it and get back to me by end of play Friday.

Irrelevant what Vauxhall site says today. If you look at the 2019 brochure for the Vivaro C it states 60,000 miles at time of sale.

Jeez, 60K warranty on a van doesn't show much confidence in their own product.
