I don’t give our cat a birthday present as we have no idea when she was born. We don't
give each other birthday presents either.
We do have advent calendars though and one year I bought the cat one. It looked a bit like white chocolate. She turned up her nose at it and wouldn’t eat it. Roll on a year and we moved house. Behind a very heavy sideboard was the advent calendar.

Nope, we always have our dogs Christmas presents but birthdays are less of a celebration here.1

We do. Our dogs birthday was this week. We buy presents but don't go overboard. She has a new tag for her collar as the old one has fallen off. This is needed by law so was going to be bought anyway. A pix n mix of dog biscuits, again something she gets anyway, a new toy and new tennis balls as we lose so many on our walks.
Really apart from the toy, it's stuff we get regularly so not really splashing out.1 -
Happy belated birthday to @Naomim's dog 🎈🦴1

Our old cat (she sadly passed away a few months ago at the grand old age of nearly 19) always got a toy for her birthday and Christmas, as well as some kind of treat - usually custard and turkey at Christmas, and some cream or an egg (which were her favourite) on her birthday! The dogs in our extended family all have a Christmas jumper and an advent calendar.Make £2025 in 2025 total £241.75/£20251
