On sick leave been informed that company is putting me on redeployment process - Outcome?

Depending on what Industry you work in - I would say its more likely that Management decide in advance of the redundancy notice period who is going, and work out the scoring to suit their agenda.Thrugelmir said:

The agenda will be to reduce costs and enable the company to survive. That's what management are paid to do. Everyone is expendable including members of the management team themselves. Bottom line is that it's a numbers game. Poorly performing, non-productive employees will be identified in the matrix drawn up.happyc84 said:

Been involved in a fair number of restructuring exercises over the years. Not a pleasant task, but a necessity. Management do have feelings and empathy. Obviously means little to the person losing their job. As they feel singled out. That's life though.2 -
They would need to put you on notice(12weeks min for 20 years) of termination of employment by reason off ......... at the start of the process.happyc84 said:Apparently not; some of have said that notice period starts when the Redeployment process starts.
