You need to do your sums first -  look back about 12  months and find a bill where the meter readings have the letter A for  ACTUAL

    Read your meter NOW

There's no reason not to trust the comparison sites but they nee accurate info.
I have just moved in, been in the rental for 2 months. I only have the last 2 months' bills to go off.
If you don't know your Estimated Annual Consumption, let the CEC estimate it for you using the option "Don't know (we'll estimate it for you)" under "Do you know how much energy you use?"

You also need to identify which is Energy 1 and Energy 2.

As of NOW does the pointer show 1 or 2 - if 1 then that register is day time and 2 is night time.

A photo of your meter will help.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

    Energy 2 is nighttime
    Energy 1 is daytime

The metre readings were taken when I moved in.

I have provided Bulb with 2 other meter readings.
This month's Bill  is currently estimated, However I Have since updated the reading online

Scottish Power was the provider before.

This seems so high, and not even close to the estimated tariff when I signed up with them. I was quoted 54 a month!

You will never pay as little as that for an electrically heated property - indeed you will be lucky to pay that for a gas heated property. Even a 1 bed electrically heated flat will be £80/90.  Think a minimum of over £100 for your house.

You need 12 months actual consumption then you can determine the % night time use

WOW what a fantastically high tariff
Yes, it is a high Tariff! It was actually the cheapest when I used a comparison site back in April.
I think you forgot to press the "show me suppliers who don't pay backhanders" button.

PS Utility Warehouse is more of a cult than an energy supplier.

Are you absolutely certain you asked for a quote for Economy 7 tariffs Tennisgirl? I've never seen an Economy 7 tariff which doesn't have a (much) cheaper rate for night-time usage...that's the whole point of Economy 7 after all! :)

Like you I have a 3 bed detached with night storage heaters. My monthly DD is approx. £145. We are above average users because of my DH's hobby, I would expect your monthly DD to be somewhat lower  (though nowhere close to what you were quoted originally).

It's worth double checking that you are on an Economy 7 tariff and if you are then you need to change your supplier to one who offers a much cheaper night-time rate as soon as you can.

@Tennisgirl2000 You probably can't post a copy of your bill but please have a look at the wording of the name of the tariff - does it say E7 ?

With respect, it really is immaterial who others have chosen as their supplier (unless seeking feedback on a supplier, and there are feedback threads for almost every supplier available on this forum)

You also need to quickly undertand how this forum operates. e.g. in the case of the poster you have asked, you will be able to see that although they have been a member here for over a decade, they have only ever made about 20 posts in that decade, the last (before the one you quoted) being about a year ago. The poster has not returned to the forum in the 8 days that have passed since they made that last post.

Another user may not be on E7, they will almost certainly have a different consumption to you, may well live in a different supply region (so costs will vary), the tariff they are on may no longer be available to new applicants, etc.

Furthermore, you will already be aware of dual rate tariffs if, as you said, you have an E7 meter and are currently supplied by Bulb.

If you follow the advice I provided with you in my first reply to you earlier in this thread, you will see a link to instructions on how to find the best deal for you.
