Sometimes codes get changed which result in a temporary loss of data. TOTAL recently changed it's ticker from TTA to TTE. Until the platform updated it's internal records the price feed etc went awry.Rollinghome said:And another. An HSBC Europe tracker gone without trace. All totals exclude the missing fund and it's no longer listed in trading history. Will see what transpires on Monday, I imagine their phones will be busy.1 -

Will see what transpires on Monday, I imagine their phones will be busy. That would figure as it seems that HSBC funds are those most affected. I seem to remember HL had a similar problem a while back. If people check their accounts over the weekend and it's not fixed by Monday, they'll be busy.I've had mine a few years so can't claim I suddenly need to sell it.

On Halifax Share dealing I've seen the HSBC FTSE250 is missing from the ISA, however the HSBC Glb Strategy is still showing0

my HSBC fund has now re-appeared this morning, thank goodness.
what was that all about? no word of explanation as yet from iweb as to what happened.
my poor nerves! i really can't take this!0 -
I have noticed shares disappearing and re-appearing more and more often recently in my Iweb SIPP - certainly enough to get my heart going - I'd like an explanation from AJ Bell as to why this happens - not good.
More concerning for me today was a Stop Loss trade executed when the share price was no where near the stop loss amount - it hadn't traded within 130p of the stop loss amount today or in the previous 3 months - had a long battle on line to get the trade cancelled - but worryingly if I hadn't checked, it would have cost me £650 - very worrying - I need now to intiiate a complaint to find out what happened - I suspect fat fingers.0 -
Start by taking a close look at the share or fund. Change of Ticker or ISIN, change of market (eg LSE to Euronext) , some other corporate action. Your platform will have to undertake a number of system updates to reflect the change. Possibly wait for confirmation that the nominee holding of stock in their name has been updated. Nothing is instanteous in these circumstances.ihatetrump said:I have noticed shares disappearing and re-appearing more and more often recently in my Iweb SIPP - certainly enough to get my heart going - I'd like an explanation from AJ Bell as to why this happens - not good.2 -

If you can see the purchases in the transaction history, but there is no record of a disposal, then there is no need to worry as you have proof of holdings.
Still not good, but no need to worry just give it 24 hours.
I suspect it is something to do with the data feeds that these platforms use; I also see funds disappearing/reappearing on the Interactive Investor platform.. and some valuation errors. They always, so far, are corrected within 24 hours, if not on a refresh.

Always good to take a screenshot of your holdings occasionally.
