I have just got in and looked at my emails to find I have about 60 emails from MSEFORUM and people asking why I.have sent them a email. I have not sent any emails to anybody on MSE. has this happened to anyone before ? I won't click on any reply links in my email but I am going to just delete them all.

Some Forumites may have recently received a notification describing a potential spam email issue on the MSE Forum. This is an outdated communication from 2010 and we’d like to reassure those affected that there’s no cause for alarm.
