Hi, so last summer I graduated through my undergrad (integrated masters) I had and still have a student account at Barclays, which they haven’t yet changed to a graduate I think due to covid, however I am
starting a PhD in September so I am wondering how that might work, can I get a new student account elsewhere?

My son is in exactly the same position. We're just going to leave it as it is, until Barclays say different. He is still a student as far as we are concerned.
Edit: not quite the same position. He finished his masters this year, and is starting his PhD in September.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1 -
Out of curiosity, I contacted Barclays. I was told that the account may change to a 'Higher Education' account, from which additional support for transitioning from education to work is available. The actual words he used were 'might change' but, whatever happens, my son doesn't have to do anything.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.1
