And if you sign up to an online payment system with a personal account to receive payments the bank could be onto it very quickly.2

Our local NatWest has a coin machine to use for making deposits. Great for when I empty out the piggy bank each year before Christmas. But I've never seen a way to get coins from an ATM.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. When I need change for work I usually just get it from the post office counter at the local petrol station. A mix for £20 or so at a time. Otherwise, I buy a bottle of milk from the corner shop with a tenner (their own fault for not accepting cards unless it's over £5).If it's your stall do you not set the prices? At work all our prices are multiples of 10p so we don't need 1s, 2s or 5s. Multiples of 5p would at least get rid of the need for copper.3

Seems I have found the solution thanks.Santander have set me up with a Basic Bank account with no charges and when I receive things it will include a cashcard. I pay monies onto bank acount and withdarw cash as required by presenting cashcard at Post Office. Santander are happy with my proposed payments in and out so looking good. Appreciate all suggestions Regards, Davidcolsten said:
