This might give you a clue - I think this was a previous model.
My guess is the one which was still taped on in the photo is the right way round lengthwise (the end near the cap stays near the cap), but it needs to be rotated 180 degrees so the side facing away from the blade fits into the slot.
That way the diagonal projection on the red part will fit into one of the diagonal slots on the body of the knife.

Stops the blade coming out when they post it to you or to stop the blade being exposed when it's in the shop. Once the clear plastic is removed it's scrap.wegptrem said:Gers said:
