If you're receiving debt collector letters, please read the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, fourth post, which tells you exactly how you deal with those, stress free.

What did the retailer/landowner say to you when you complained and asked them to get the ticket cancelled?

Thanks for reply, I  went into the store but the young store Manager wouldn’t email Email Euro Car Parks and wants me to go back in today to speak to his manager.  It’s really hard to get anyone with any authority there to actually do anything

You owe nothing unless a judge says so,  please read the newbies and complain to you MP.  If you then need more answers please provive us with a lot more details than you have done.

See what the manager says today. I'd stress the fact that his employee asked you to return (state how many miles/how long it has taken you) and you gained the impression from him that the senior manager could actually do something to get the charge cancelled. Take any receipts/bank/cc statements showing you as a regular customer of theirs.

Which store? Morrisons by any chance?  ECP are the regular car park operator, Ms are the very best at getting these cancelled.

M&S are one of the few retailers who want to keep customers so if the manager will not help, next step is a complaint to the CEO.

Make sure you only give M&S photocopies of the PCN and letter. Keep the originals.  Come back and tell us when M&S have cancelled it.

Well done.  Do tell everyone you know about the vermin who infest M&S car parks and what to do about them.
