Missing the (advanced) forum search

I can't seem to find a way of searching the forum for my posts. If I search on my username, I can find posts where another user has used my username in their post. But I can't seem to search on posts that I have made, which obviously would not include my username in the text.

The reason is that if I comment on a thread, I sometimes want to see what is discussed following my post. I commented on a thread recently but for the life of me I cannot remember the title or the board on which it was listed. So I cannot see the full discussion on the thread.

Am I missing something in terms of the forum search?

Go into your profile and select 'replies' or 'discussions' to see your posts.

The reason is that if I comment on a thread, I sometimes want to see what is discussed following my post.

Use the bookmark function to bookmark the thread, then you receive a notification whenever anyone replies to the thread.

Click on the magnifying glass in the "Search the Forum" box at the top of the forum. Then click the triangular down button at the right hand side and you will get a full list of search parameters (i.e. Advanced Search). Start to enter your name in the Author parameter but then select your name from the pop-up list when it appears there. Click the Search button.
This will return all your posts.
To further refine your search, you can omit older posts by using the "Date within" parameters. If you select say " Date within 2 months and put "today" in the second box, it will return all of your posts made within the last 2 months.
