New roof

Good morning,
I wonder if anybody could help us.
We have just had a new roof installed, interlocking marley tiles, white breathable felt, dry ridge system on a 1950s house.
The work was completed yesterday.
On going up into the loft we can see light... should this be happening, my gut says no and we are very worried.
Thank you in advance.
Please see attached pictures.

Probably better of posting on the DIY forum as they'll be able to advise better on the standard of work:

Perhaps either delete this thread and repost or ask the board mods (not sure who they actually are, sorry) to move the thread for you.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces1 -
Tile joints are not light-proof. Normally you don't see any light because the black felt completely blocks it but since you have chosen breathable felt that will not happen hence you can see light.1
