So returned with a bloodstain on the inside & mud in the treads ??
I don't wonder the retailer is being a little antsy.

This is my first time on this forum, and I was under the impression I would receive helpful comments from people.

Well surely it's common sense to at least clean the mud off before sending them back!

"Long" boots?  Given Equus.co.uk sell equestrian gear are you sure these aren't horse riding boots?  If they are I'm not really sure they're going to be designed for going for walks in.

Edit: Actually looking at the site shows they do have "long" boots for sake and they're riding boots.  No wonder they hurt her feet.

But the OP specifically claimed they were long boots, a term I hadn't heard before.

Looking on their site they have a specific section called "Long Boots" which as far as I can see are all riding boots.

    Moretta Pamina Country Boots

Waterproof equestrian long boots designed for the countryside

    Suggested uses

Schooling, everyday riding, yard duties, and walking in the countryside.

The OP doesn't say what boots were bought but the first ones on the 'long boots' page states suitable for dog walking.

If he means the £99 ones then although they include them in the everyday section the description onlt mentions riding  activities..

regardless protruding stitching would cause rubbing even on yard duties.

AS a child sandals always rubbed my heel. My father bashed them with a hammer to  smooth the backs of them
