My current flat is probably CRAZY! The landlord almost doesn't do anything, a couple tenant own and have control of cctvs ALMOST EVERYWHERE outside and inside of the whole property including the entrance where deliveries fall into. The cctvs are even audio recording. Almost no privacy in my flat. Crazy busybody nosy couple. Might want to move out soon. The landlord COMPLETELY DOES NOT CARE their tenants have full control of loads of cctvs ALMOST EVERYWHERE in their property. It seems to be the couple's property.0

Familiar with smart video doorbells but CCTV inside the property is excessive.Have you communicated your concerns? Might be better off looking for another property.0 -
Are all the cctvs in/covering communal areas only, or are there any inside your flat?If they are covering the communal areas, then it is a leaseholder issue to sort, not the landlord, unless the landlord is also the leaseholder. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Might be better off looking for another property. What are "smart video doorbells"?Hmm... some people say some landlords have cctvs in communal spaces(Inside areas)I have spoke with many people and the ICO and the ICO said landlords can put cctvs outside and inside communal spaces such as kitchen in the property. Also an IFA, CAB advisor and social carrer told me it is common in this generation that most properties have cctvs and cameras in them.0 -

Did they? It’s certainly not common for most properties to have cameras at all, let alone inside them.XiangLin said:london21 said:
