While a Landlord might install outside CCTV to cover the front door and any other break in weak spots in a rental property it's still not common except in areas with high burglary problems.
Maybe a tenant might want a cctv camera in their bedroom ! If stuff goes missing

So it is not common for rented houses(Owned by a landlord or tenant) to have cctvs in the property, in the entire UK or London?

Chill. I am just confirming in London or nationwide.

Certainly if inside the house, I would imagine the tenant would need to initiate setup with the landlords permission, otherwise it could be seen as a major breach of privacy.A lot of flats / some houses do have video entry phones however, so you can see who is at the door before you answer it.0

How do "video entry phones" work? What are their prices?

I don't know of any rented properties that have cameras inside them.
There would be a whole load of privacy issues, data protection etc.1
