I stopped working for a builder to do my own work and to be honest I’m a little embarrassed about what I charge however I find that sometimes I’m in the middle but 90% of the time I’m the cheapest.
I’m spending a lot of time getting prices and availability of materials.
I’m getting so many different reasons for price increases but believe that middlemen are making a lot of money out of this and it won’t stop till big players and homeowners stop building.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'
