Llawnroc

So received a Penalty Notice from the above private parking operator as I did not display a valid parking ticket.

I did in fact buy a valid ticket and retained it however on my return to the vehicle I found it on the floor in front of the driving seat. I assume it just have fallen off the fascia when I shut the car door.

On searching the internet I found a story about a BBC journalist called David George who had a similar situation to mine and cited that despite his ticket “flipping over” he had in fact purchased a valid ticket. His appeal was eventually upheld.

Injabw appealed the ticket wigh Llawnroc which was immediately rejected amd have now gone to Arbitratikn and await a decision.

Today I received another letter from Llawnroc demanding payment despite my appeal being currently referred to Arbitration

Dows anyone have any experience with this company as Inhave found them to be patronising in their correspondence with me

I bought a valid todket which makes the process quite galling!

    It's a parking charge notice , or PCN , not a penalty notice !!

Not seen their name on here for a while , so there will be few with experience of them , but none of them are John Lewis standard , most are ex clamper SC*m artists

If by arbitration you mean an IAS appeal, you are being seriously misled. It's a kangaroo court and you only have a 4% chance of winning. If that happens, do not despair. The result is not binding on the motorist so there is no requirement for you to pay unless it goes to court and a judge orders you to.

You are the victim of a fluttering ticket that could have been caused by any number of things, including a person or persons unknown bouncing up and down on your car to dislodge your ticket.

Have a look at what at least one judge had to say about this sort of thing.

There is no usable appeals process and it's certainly nor arbitration.  I think you've been taken in and thought the IAS was independent, but in fact it's a kangaroo court:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6280434/is-the-ias-a-kangaroo-court-annual-report-2019-20-96-of-cases-are-found-in-favour-of-ppcs/p1

You'll lose but then ignore Llawroc unless they try a small claim. That is where you win.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

No, you received an invoice from them.  Plase read the newbies and complain to your MP.
