Signed up to virgin Mse blagged deal 23:95 for 100mbs with 100 credit and zero set up fees . Instal yesterday which was appalling . My bills are showing monthly charge of 25 a months with 100 credit and that has now reduced to 65 as they have took a 35 activation fee despite the deal saying Zero set up fees . The deal made no mention of the 35 fee . Virgin CS is beyong useless ,hours spent on chat ,messages . They state a bill hasn't been generated yet but ican see all the charges on my BB account . Anyone else take this advertised deal only to find you haven't got what was promised.

When I change providers I always do screen caps of the opening page i.e. if it says no activation charges and a date that is still active then use it to your advantage when complaining as any complaint to the ombudsman with those pictures would go in your favour.
If they cancel them early they should take them down and any sites which still have them should be notified of changes. I always go the the providers site to see if any offers are on before commencing with a change.Someone please tell me what money is0 -
Yes I supplied screenshots of the deal on mse ,the confirmation from virgin which said set up fees 0 .. After numerous attempts a guy from the virgin customer forum agreed to refund 18 x £1.05 and the 35 activation fee . He said he couldn't change the 25 a month charge but refunded the 18x 1.05 to bring it back to the advertised price of 23.95 . It really was like begging virgin to honour the bloody offer . With the 100 credit it's less than 19 for 100mbs which no one can get near . Still in cooling off period but touch wood things look ok at moment but the CS was a shambles as was the install which resulted in moving the router myself . Just wondered if anyone else had the same problemswild666 said:When I change providers I always do screen caps of the opening page i.e. if it says no activation charges and a date that is still active then use it to your advantage when complaining as any complaint to the ombudsman with those pictures would go in your favour.
