Conservatory with toilet

I have purchased house recently.  We definitely need shower and wc at ground floor but only got limited budget.  Builder suggested to break rear wall and move kitchen to extended portion and build shower/wc inside house before extended portion. Thats good idea But I think it will cost lot of money.

Instead of doing that , can I get rear conservatory with shower/wc so i don't need to spend more money for proper concreat extention.  I still get private entrance to wc from house and get good sunlight in summer .

Any suggestions   have anyone done this ,  , can you share any pics?

I am going to speak with architect.

Plan of the downstairs as that makes it easier to suggest things.

A decent conservatory built to a good enough standard to pass building control inspection is not going to be much cheaper than a proper extension.

Um... cheap conservatories with minimal foundations usually have clear roofs.

If you want a tiled roof, then you will need proper foundations - far better to go for an extension.

I meant a plant of how the ground floor looks now eg from the sales advert or one you've drawn.

I am seeing builders next week to understand if its feasible to have clear roofs with less foundation and merge it with kitchen and build a toilet at end.  I have attached floor plan and rear ,side pic . I was watching YouTube for some idea on same so attached pic for conservatory I liked online.8

That row of various storage cupboards behind the stairs.  Convert that lot.  You will get a room about 1 metre deep, but quite long, so sliding door in the middle to get in, WC to one side, shower to the other side and small wash hand basin straight in front of the door.

Very little cost no expensive extension needed.

That looks quite like my conservatory, but even with insulated cavity walls, an insulated floor and a heat reflective double glazed roof, it doesn't meet building regulations, so I wouldn't extend the kitchen into it. I can't tell which way your house faces, but a conservatory can get very warm and it's just not a great environment for cooking.
I agree your hallway, which was the original kitchen, has the space to fit in a loo and washbasin at the very least. That will be an economic and useful addition. A conservatory may be a nice feature if well-designed and built, but it won't add much value and having a toilet in one would be viewed by others as somewhat weird and not a selling point in the future.
