Not impressed. I only opened the IWeb account with the intention of transferring full ISAs in from Vanguard which is % based so more expensive as my ISA grows.
And there's us all thinking computers would help speed-up money transfers in the 21st Century.1 -

Just had a letter this week with a nonsensical message "We cannot proceed as account details must match one of the configured regular expressions. Please re-submit request." No idea what that means but presume I need to start again!
'Regular expressions' are a way of describing the pattern of characters that something, like an account number, reference, post code, should have. They have certain such patterns configured (set up) and your provided details don't match their patterns. Maybe a typo, maybe they haven't got a valid but unusual pattern listed.Such jargon suould not have been sent to a customer.

Due to the unprecedented demand for our service transfers are taking longer than usual. Transfers are currently taking up to 12 weeks and there is currently a delay of 3 weeks to log your initial request. We are working hard to process transfers as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
I started an in specie transfer of a S&S ISA from HSBC at the beginning of May. I received a letter from IWeb a couple of weeks later and my HSBC ISA was transferred out around the middle of June. It hasn't appeared in my IWeb account yet.0 -
I did one for my wife (from Post Office). Took 4 weeks with no issues.
Then I did one for me. After nearly four weeks - nothing. Phoned them and they had lost the authorisation form. I resent this and called them after 10 days to check they had the form. PO ISA closed within 14 days and hopefully I will see this on iWeb this week.0 -
It seems I join the queue on transfer to iWeb.
I started around 3 months ago. Chased it 4 times so far; iWeb keeps saying they sent the acceptance forms to HL. Contacted HL 3 times; they said they didn't receive anything from iWeb,
So, the question is: who is lying?
iWeb said today they will send paper again to HL. So another 2-3 weeks of waiting, at least0 -
I submitted an in specie transfer from Vanguard to Halifax Sharedealing on 10th April, so over 3 months and counting.
I today phoned Halifax for an update and was told that the funds have arrived, but that it will possibly take "another few weeks" for them to "settle".0 -
I'm transferring a Halifax Sharedealing S&S ISA to iWeb - sent the form off last week, today received a letter from iWeb to say they have contacted HSDL about it, so currently about two weeks earlier than expected to 'Log' the enquiry. Probably easier seeing as the two should be in the same building at least. Wonder if someone has to email themselves a request...

Ooh ok, posted the form Tuesday 1st class, so that's six(?) working days so far if they opened it Wednesday, any bets? 😅
