Wowcher / Blackfeather-Online - Faulty Table

I recently purchased a 9 piece rattan garden set voucher for £899 via Wocher from the retailer Blackfeather-Online. After around 4 weeks the rattan table top (which has a glass top covering it) started to melt (the rattan part not the glass). Having contacted Wowcher they were no help and suggested I contact Blackfeather directly. Having done so and numerous emails back and forth they are unwilling to repair/replace or refund due to me contacting them "outside of their strict 30 day retrun policy" even though I did contact them within 30 days they are saying they didnt receive that email.
I have since contacted citizens advise who advise to keep at them, however this has gone back and forth nearly 6 weeks now and no sign of resolution, any advice from you guys would be much appriciated.
Thanks
JayJB

Who is your contract with? Did you buy it directly through Wowcher, or buy a Wowcher voucher or credit, then use that to buy the item from Blackfeather?0

Ok. I would write to them, saying that they should get in touch with you to resolve the matter, or you will take small claims court action.
Remember that if they do elect to refund you, it will be in Wowcher credit form. You don't have an automatic right to a cash refund, nor do Wowcher have an obligation to refund your voucher/credit, so you will need to find something else to spend the £899 credit on before it expires.1 -

That is really odd, the only other thing I can think, do you or a neighbour have a conservatory that could have focused the light onto it, that curved line could be as the sun had passed over changing the angle (south ish should be in the direction of the inside of the curve) if it was something on the table (eg a curved glass vase filled with water), but any direction if reflected off of something else.
It reminded me of this:

In the absence of solvents, polyester (which is what that is made out of) melts at around 250c which can not be reached just from sun exposure, it would have to be focused by something.2 -

The upshot is, I can't see that it's faulty. That's been caused by (inadvertent) misuse or placement.0 -
Move the table about 10 cm along, then see if the burn mark appears the same shape 10cm further along. If it does, then it is something focusing the sunlight causing a hot spot!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)1
