VirginMobile vs EE

Good afternoon,
My contract with Vodafone is due to end and I am looking for alternative options as one of the reasons is that now Vodafone does not offer wi-fi in the underground and I use it a lot as I live and work in London. So I will need to change to EE, VirginMobile, 3 or O2.
The feedback for O2 and it’s signal isn’t great and neither for 3.
So I am thinking between EE and VirginMedia. Apparently VM are now using Vodafone (previously they used EE). From what I am reading EE are pretty good - I guess this is why their prices are much higher.

I have an offer for £10 SIM only with EE for 10 gb but only 4g (not 5g).
And also another offer for £10 with VM with 5g for 20gb data. The thing is their coverage of 5G is not everywhere (for example not in the area where I live, only where I work).

The thing is that apparently 4G with EE is so much better comparing with VirginMobile so I am thinking whether their 4G is going to be better with VM 5g too which I won’t be using everywhere anyways.
The contract is for 12 months. Also if anyone is aware of their signal in Europe and give me some feedback would be good.
Thank you ☺️

Virgin has merged/been bought by O2. What happens to their contract with Vodefone, I don't know!

Where did you get this please? I'm an EE customer (SIM only) and they've just told me that they're ending my current plan and want me to take a more expensive one. Your offer is much better than what they've offered me.
