BT Complete Wifi: is it worth it?

I am looking at moving from Virgin Media for cost reasons. BT offer a package that includes speeds of 67mb (they say average 50) and an add on of Complete Wifi. Has anyone had experience of Complete Wifi extending use into a garden room? (Wife works from home).

wifi signal decreases with distance so would be useful if you can describe what your garden room is and how far from the router
  • Router is at front of house. Garden room is approx. 20m down the garden.

Better off buying yourself rather than renting units from BT ,

I agree - it's generally cheaper to buy your own wifi extender/mesh set up rather than renting it from your ISP. You'll get more choice in what you can get and the higher upfront cost usually ends up working out cheaper in the long run.
  • Thanks. Just seen another post where someone has used the BT discs with Virgin with some success. I think I'll buy a set rather than rent.
