Compensation from Bosch for inaccurate manual?

The OP has already stated what she wanted for compensation.
suggested that the minimum could be giving me an extra 3 yrs warranty FOC.

What I don't understand is that the OP and her husband make "at least 100" attempts to follow the instructions in the manual to turn off the beep. They spend hours on the 'phone trying to get through to Bosch CS and when they eventually manage to get through an engineer is dispatched "reluctantly" to inspect the m/c.
He can't turn the beep off either and says the m/c is faulty. It's collected and a replacement is delivered - though not by such nice people as delivered the first one and the OP and her husband have to plumb it in themselves.
The replacement m/c appears to suffer from the same "fault" as the original one. A second engineer attends, discovers the m/c is not faulty (and the first one probably wasn't either) and that the issue is wrong instructions in the manual.
I can understand the OP being annoyed by the beep if she is using her kitchen as a home office, but what I can't understand is why she didn't just do what I do. I have a Bosch washing m/c and when it finishes its cycle it beeps and then continues to beep every 30 seconds or so. If I'm in the kitchen and it's annoying me, I simply turn the m/c off and it stops being annoying. Takes about half a second and minimal effort. As it happens the manual for my m/c (I read it earlier today) tells me how to turn the beep off. I didn't know that because it never crossed my mind to check - I just turn the m/c off.
So the OP has pointlessly wasted hours of time and effort, had a non-faulty m/c taken away and a replacement delivered, and wants compensation from Bosch? And when other posters question this they are accused of being rude. Does nobody have common sense any more?
(Maybe I'm missing something - is it somehow "better" to disable the beep rather than turn the m/c off? If the washing cycle has finished it needs to be turned off anyway, doesn't it? That's what we do - we don't leave it turned on... )12 -

I only hope the OP doesn't buy a car.
It's taken me 5 years to work out why the aircon had an "intermittent fault" on one of mine, thanks to the Konglish manual and bizarro controls.

Maybe it was "fixed" by snipping/disconnecting the wires to the beeper?I hadn't spotted it had been eventually sorted. Too much speed reading!0

We had a similar but worse experience recently, @[deleted_user] We followed the instructions in the user manual to activate the child lock on our brand new Samsung washing machine. After the machine stuck in ‘every light flashing’ mode, even after being turned off overnight & we took delivery of a replacement, we discovered we should have followed the hieroglyphics on the control panel & ignored the user manual.

I can change whether or not I hear the "beep" from my Bosch washer really easily - by either opening or closing the door to the utility room0
