Enterprise parking ticket

Options
Received a PCN in the post for visiting the same retail park twice in the same day !
We visited B&M , left to go to Tesco on the opposite retail park then drove back for a Starbucks on the way home .  I’ve spoken to the parking company they state it’s thier rules, B&M won’t help abs I’m waiting Starbucks to reply .
I’ve never heard such a ridiculous rule !
What can I do ?

Read some of these and complain to your MP.

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5550336/double-dip-parking-list-of-cases

If this goes to court and you win, ask for unreasonable behaviour costs under CPR27.14(2)(g). and write bad stuff on B&M's media pages.

B & m won't be the landowner , just tenants , so find out who is the landowner and complain to them

Read the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements

Makes a written appeal to Enterprise

Top of the forum , third thread down , near the new discussion button

Us a laptop or desktop computer , not a phone

If Enterprise rejected the appeal , they should have given you a Popla code , so appeal to Popla after doing more research

But plan A remains the best option , ALWAYS is ( landowner cancellation )

    This might help: -
    1. Google searches
    2. If a retail park, check on any signage which lists the on-site outlets
    3. Ask retailers on the site if there is a managing agent
    4. Ask retailers on the site to whom do they pay rent
    5. Contact the local authority and ask who pays the non-domestic/business rate for the car park
    6. Contact the local Valuation Office and ask if they know. They often have a website which might provide the information
    7. Contact The Land Registry and for £3 they will provide definitive detail

Starbucks will cancel it; they've done that before in motorway services so I expect them to do so here.

You know how to appeal it if not because that's already explained with an appeal template, in the NEWBIES thread.

No-one pays these until the MHCLG (Government) get the framework and new statutory Code of Practice and parking levels on a more fair and lower footing that the current rip off.  In 2022 we expect not to have this greedy penalty-based crap ruining people's daily peace of mind because of the new Parking (Code of Practice) Act 2019.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • These cases always make me laugh.
How can they possibly know that it was the same driver on both occasions ?

I am sure that that is an unfair term in a consumer contract under CRA 2015.  It may also be a breach of your Human Rights, under The Human Rights Act.   If this went to court a counter claim could cost them plenty.  Complain to your MP.
