Parking Charge Bury New Rd Prestwich Parking Eye

Hi, I have been issued with a parking charge from Parking Eye whilst parking on Bury New Rd Prestwich Car park. There was no obvious machine or sign that I can remember in the car park I check so I know whether I need to pay as I have a blue badge and clock which were displayed however it looks like it’s a CCTV camera which records the car going in and out. We were parked from 17.52-19.33 (1hr 41min) we parked, ate at a restaurant in the precinct attached to the car park and left. The charge is for £75 or £45 if paid in 14 days
any help with appeal etc would be greatly appreciated- all stickies and threads seem to be from ages ago so wanted to make sure everything I do is relevant and up to date thanks

Having a blue badge does not exempt you from paying.  Have you: -
    a) read the NEWBIE sticky
    b) complained to the restaurant (Plan A in the sticky).

The newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum in announcements is up to date !!

Plan A is the best option , a landowner cancellation

Plan B is the appeal to Parking Eye , which will be rejected by them

    Plan C is a Popla appeal , after B

Plan D is Court , within 6 years

Parking Eye use anpr cameras , not CCTV cameras , situated at the entrance/exit

Blue badges may have no relevance due to it being private land !!

Ideally , you need pictures of the signage , plus tell us what the alleged contravention was too

Parking Eye tend to cover all bases , so check the signs , check for POFA compliance etc , first , don't go off half cocked and shoot yourself in the foot

Why park in a private car park and not just use your right to park for 3 hours on a double yellow line, because you have a Blue Badge?  People MUST stop driving into car parks, pointlessly falling foul of scam ANPR cameras.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
