Vanguard - Stocks & Shares ISA - Transfer In Delays

Hi All,
Has anyone experienced long delays with Vanguard?
I'm trying to transfer cash ISAs from two ISA providers to Vanguard so that they can go into stocks and shares ISAs but the process has now taken about 3 months
Both cash ISAs had 35 day notice periods and so couldn't be transferred immediately but the process has gone on far longer than expected. Each time I contact Vanguard they tell me that they are working on it but then I contact my current ISA providers who tell me they have received no contact from Vanguard?
This seems really poor and I'm now considering transferring elsewhere. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions?
I originally put in my allowance for this year and that seemed to go OK but their service on these transfers has been very poor.
I also find it strange that they don't have an app. I knew this when I joined but since having it in operation it seems like it would be really useful.
Thanks

Why do you want an app? Just put an short cut where you want an App an app offers no additional functionality over a website.

The lack of an app is not the main issue however.0 -
Has anyone else experienced these delayed services?0

Just go to the website on your phone, it presents fine, I’ve never used my laptop to access VG. Others have had difficulty https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6280386/transfer-of-cash-isa-from-coventry-to-vanguard#latest

I know it’s not much help to you as I have not tried to transfer an ISA to Vanguard but have done a SIPP transfer in.
Very easy and quick, about a couple of weeks if I remember correctly and have found their service fine since then.
Hope you can get it sorted and don’t feel the need to transfer out as Vanguard is a reasonable option for your ISA platform in my experience.0 -
I also find it strange that they don't have an app.Platforms frequently don't have an app due to their increased complexity. I do not believe any of the FNZ based platforms have created an app.So that I can view my account without having to have my laptop with me.Does your phone/tablet not have an internet browser?

I requested my sons JISA was transferred from Vanguard to Fidelity on 30th November 2020 due to Fidelity not charging a platform fee for JISA's. After months of chasing emails it was finally transferred in June 2021!
I also requested the transfer of mine and my wifes ISA's from Vanguard to iWeb in December 2020 and these transfers were also not completed until June. The excuse I was given was there are long delays due to several transfer requests being made at the start of the new tax year (even though my requests were initially made 4/5 months before this).
When contacting Fidelity or IWeb they both mentioned they were waiting on Vanguard so the delays do seem to sit with them.0 -
Thanks for the responses. I seem to be getting nowhere messaging Vanguard and so will try calling them instead.0

Thanks for your posts OP. I was thinking of transferring my previous ISA to Vanguard but not so sure. Hope they speed up for you as presumably you are losing out financially0

I'm on my 2nd attempt at transferring a s&s isa from Interactive Investor to Vanguard currently.
The first time it dragged on for months with me messaging both companies for updates and being told by both companies that they were waiting on the other, before Interactive Investor turned around and claimed there had been no transfer request. I gave up and cancelled.
I'm trying again now and it's been a month, exactly the same thing has happened. I decided to call both this time instead of messaging. It seems that interactive investor have sent a valuation of my account to vanguard, who have accepted and are waiting for the transfer of funds.
Interactive investor are again claiming there's been no transfer request but when I raised the points that, if there has indeed been no request then why are they sending out my account information to random 3rd parties for no reason and also, when replying to all my messages about my transfer, why was I being given updates if a transfer didn't exist, they had no answer and just stuck to the "there hasn't been a transfer request on your account" line.
I'm not sure who's at fault so am going to leave them to sort it out between themselves. It's a nightmare and I'm pretty fed up of it.1
