The management agent are the estate agents Century 21 which is a franchise. They own the flats and the land. They have a bad reputation in my local town for bullying behaviour. They lease 4 floors of the flats to social housing but blocked the lift from stopping on those floors as well as not allowing them a parking space even though there is plenty of room and its town centre.

    Wow!

Even more reason to complain!  What you describe is discriminatory.  I wonder if this was self-ticketing by Century 21, having watched you leave you vehicle and knowing you were a Nurse by your uniform and any pass in your car?

Ask your MP to write to Century 21 and Regent (both) as well, to support your position, urgently.

Also, if you are still within 21 days of the rejection letter you can try the kangaroo court of the IAS* but I'd get your MP to put pressure on next week, first.  Most MPs will as they understand this is a matter for Parliament right now, due to the new Act:

*Only 4% of people win at IAS and it is run by the same person who runs the IPC Trade Body.

I received a reply from the management company today who say they can't cancel the invoice I received. However, it reads more like they won't rather than can't as letter is very unsympathetic. The MC as well as Regent parking have rejected my appeal based on the fact that there was an alternative option for me to pay for the duration of my stay through a 'tap to park' system. This is untrue however, as although this option is mentioned in their signage, there is no location code listed, which is required to do this and so makes this an unviable option. I'm hoping that, if it were to ever reach court, this would be a strong argument? Today is the last day of my 14 day discount!

there is no location code listed,

Have you queried this with the PPC?  Their reply might help you in court.

I'd take this one to the IAS widely-believed 'kangaroo court' (4% appeals upheld specialists).  Are you still within 21 days of the rejection letter?  If so, repeat the evidence and appeal already made and show evidence that there is no location code.

The IAS needs a bespoke appeal with evidence so don't waste time looking for a template appeal.

Also, send me a PM as I'd like to liaise with you to make a complaint to the DVLA and IPC about the supposed parking firm using the name 'Regent'.  I think this set up needs some scrutiny.

I havent queried this with the IPC as assumed I needed to be a member.

I have written to both my MP as well as the MP for the patient's address where the parking took place. I haven't heard from either as yet.

Yes, I am within 21 days of my appeal rejection so will try an appeal tonight to the IAS.

    I'll send you a pm Coupon-mad.

Thank so much to you all for your responses and suggestions.

Whether your appeal works or not, I feel you and I need to take this complaint further.
