Virgin mse offer discrepancy

Hi all, 

New here and first post!
I used a link on mse to get virgin 100mps broadband and phone for £23.95 per month with £100 bill credit on the 17th Jun.
Everything was installed yesterday and is fine.
But having checked the first bill it's saying £51 which is the price after 18 months. 
I've contacted virgin and they are saying that they want someone from mse to contact them before they'll honour the £23.95.
Any ideas on how to do this please, as I can't see anything on the site to help me?
