I currently get BT Sport with widescreen via my EE mobile phone contract. But that contract ends soon, so I'm looking at alternative SIM-only deals.
But I'd like to keep BT Sport and have Sky TV.
It is available for £27/month on a 31-day rolling contract. How feasible is it to sign up, say, the day before a match I want to watch is on, then immediately give notice to cancel 31-days later. When it expires, wait until there's another match I want to watch and repeat the process.

So you pay £27 per match , where i pay BT Sport HD £20 pm .

No. £27 per month, during which time I will watch several matches. But there will always be gaps of a few days at least when there is nothing I want to watch or don't have time to watch. So if this gap coincides with the end of a 31 day period, I may as well not pay anything in the gap0

By the way I don't have BT Broadband because it is very slow copper wire here. I need to use an alternative broadband supplier0

It seems to be £29.99 for the month plus £35 upfront - if you cancel and then re-start might you have to pay that £35 again?0

I have just taken an 18 month contract with Sky for BT sport for £24 a month, not much of a discount.
The full cost of Sky Sports and BT sports is £54 a month including Signature after discounts on cancelling my old sky contract.0
