Been quoted by contactsolar who have really good reviews, assuming they're not all fake.

I wasn't considering a battery but this seems to be good value, thoughts?

Batteries might be interesting soon, so given the option I'd take the quote with hybrid inverter,  but ditch the batteries, as the uhome are (imo) a poorer alternative to the pylontech most of us with batteries run, while also being much more expensive.
I suspect that if I ask to delete the batteries from the quote that 'promotional discount' will either be removed or be reduced.

    I'll contact them and ask.

Yeah I'd assume so too, but the uhome batteries are not compatible with other batteries, and are much more expensive per kwh than the pylontech that many of us use.

Is the discharge rate of uhome batteries not higher?

Just looked up the spec, and yes the uhome can discharge at 1.5kw whereas the pylontech are only 1.25kw, so with 2 batteries you could theoretically get 3kw discharge vs 2.5kw on pylontech.
However the lux can discharge at 3.6kw theoretically,  so you would need another battery, so 3 x lux = 3.75kw and the uhome would be 4.5kw, but same amount of storage.

If they were the same price and compatible with each other, I'd maybe advise the uhome, but they are considerably more expensive based on users asking to increase their storage and the quote being over £1000 vs the pylontech at that point were £700 on ebay.

Latest quote from contact solar is 11*385w ja solar and a solax x1 boost for 4995 which seems fairly decent, don't know much about solax as I've been focusing on solis.

That sounds a reasonable deal, considering your panels are split across two separate roof aspects and are likely to require more installation effort than a single-aspect array would.

For me personally,  I'd say no, you will be installing with msc approved installers anyway, so in theory that should be your cover.

But it's up to you to decide if the piece of mind is worth the extra
