Drover / Cazoo recalling lease car with 2 days notice, due to car suppliers withdrawing

Is anyone else in the same position? I imagine there must be Drover/Cazoo customers who are currently on holiday, customers who are using their cars for work, customers who have plans to use their cars over the next few days etc etc .  I don't want to hand our car back in 2 days time because we need it!

Drover/cazoo sent me an email asking for the car back as well, they emailed me on the 20th of September 2021 so certainly more notice than they gave OP 

I chose the option of cancellation and going else where, cazoo’s pricing is a joke, even more expensive than drover

I would have told them that I’m sticking with  contract I had signed until it expires.

Has anyone ignored them, if so, what happened? Did they come and take the car regardless?

Perhaps @freeganneist could return to the thread? (They're well past the deadline date from their OP, so should be able to say what happened).
