Staysure covers you if you have to cancel “If told to do so by the government system “. That’s the issue here - school isolations are controlled by the school, not the government. Might be worth ringing Staysure to check what is actually required as proof.

 Not in my sons school. They report case to gov who ask the school for close contacts and the gov them tells them to isolate. School pass on the notification to parents if they need it for track & trace payment
